If you have an incumbent State Legislator that does not share your conservative views, then you just might want to consider running for their office. Heritage Alliance PAC stands ready to help any conservative non-incumbent mount a campaign.
To get Heritage Alliance PAC's support for your campaign here are the six things you need to do:
Write a summary about why the incumbent should be replaced. Include any issues where the incumbent has a political liability.
Write a mission statement detailing your reasons for wanting to serve in the Texas Legislature. Include 3 or 4 core issues, which will serve as a campaign platform. List your career or community accomplishments, any past political activities or any offices you may have held.
List any liabilities (business, financial, family, moral, or legal) that your opponent might raise about you.
Gather personal phone books, Rolodex's, club directories, church directories, professional directories, alumni lists, etc.
From these directories, write down the names of your friends who live in your district.
